Donny, what kind of wheels are you looking for. Maybe a pic of the wheel. Is it a factory wheel? We recently bought several styles of takeoffs. If ya get me a pic of what you are looking for, I will look in the tire bldg. to see whats there.....

 

He bought the 3rd gen aluminum wheels just like in the truck in your sig. The ones you will find on the 06' and 07' trucks. Aluminum not the crome clad ones.

well if its chromed and dinged ur toast,steel is polished then chromed than repolished,

chroming is plating,like gold,silver and everthing plating,its a small coat of metal bound by electrolyse,u must do the whole piece

 

Sorry for the pain Man. It's supposed to be an exciting time when doing things for your ride. When some a$$ wipe screws up your plans, it's tuff to get back on target.

Good luck on the rims and also finding another intake. Just remember, ya got an loaner anytime you visit the deep south!

Anyway .... here are some pics. I THINK they are polished aluminum, not chrome plated. Hopefully one of you will know.

 

If the spokes are thick its aluminum, If they are thin its chrome plated steel. Also chorme plate tends to flake off when they get dinged up. By the looks, they are aluminum. It would be a pain to fix that damage, but doable.

 

Yeah, I think they are aluminum as well. Hopefully this company that I found that does whel repairs can fix it.
