Never had a skateboard when I was young. But we did have rollerskates, and we would tie a rope to the ball hitch of a buddies car and kind of "waterski" down the road just to see how far you can go before crashing. Those turns can be hairy indeed.....maybe I'll let this memory go also..[&:] In the winter we would tie a metal saucer or a car hood to the car and fly around town until we got busted. Telephone poles really suck! I think one of the safest things I've done was ride a harley!
