Good info, I just can't stand that stuff getting thrown out as fact without a decent source. Now the only problem is that just because we know what percentage those companies are bringing in from OPEC, we can't count on that particular oil being at their pumps. Once the companies bring in oil it get sold to independent refiners who then sell to independent distributors and who knows whose pump it goes into after that.

I think at this point I would rather buy from the middle east than Venezuela. I dont go to Chevron that much for that reason. It just shows you how much propganda is out there on diffrent sites. ...I guess when Bush didnt sign the higher EPA standard MPG bill in 2003there was a good justification in that. Thats why battery technology has grown by leaps and bounds over the last 5 years, but hybrid cars mpg has declined for 4 strait years. Honda civic hybrid was 51 in 2004 now its 44 in 2008...WTF. I guess there are more peolpe that have a hand in this then orgianally thought. Im not bashing Rep or Dem im just saying the whole thing is so riduculous, the first bill veto'ed in 2000 by bush was a bill that would have 10%of all service stations selling hydrogen by 2011.I guarntee the day the 440,000 school buses that travel roughly 22,500,000 miles a day stop running in June, that diesel fuel prices wont drop.

 

Course the prices wont drop, it the beginning of summer! Not a chance they would ever do that. Those punks wouldnt drop the price,even with all the extra fuel in supply from the busses not running.

 

Had to endure 30 seconds of a Valero commercial last night calling itself "America's Oil Company" blah, blah, blah, blah
