Default Fog Lamp Install Help

I ordered an EOM Fog Light package for my 2006 Dodge CTD 4x4 Quad Cab.
Can I tie them into the park lamps behind the head lamp assemblies?

How would you recommend to install them I want them all when the park lamp or head lights are on high or low beams?

The wire kit has a voilet colored wire that ties ito the low beams.....can I delete this wire if I use the cab mounted power switch?

Thanks!

I'd recommend you just plug them into the factory plug-in that's behind the front bumper, just below the headlight on the driver's side. You said "package" so I assume it has the factory headlight w/foglight switch, which will plug in right where your current light switch is.

Stock is boring and only work on low beams... You might want to look at how I hooked up 4 - 100 watt aircraft landing lights... I got High and low beam sets... I even got a set for back up lights... Really easy to setup...

That could be fun. What'd that setup cost?

I can't remember what I paid to build them...I built two of them (2002 Dodge and 1996 Dodge) and love it.

(4) NAPA 4509 Spot Aircraft
(4) Rubber TractorBulbBuckets (normally outfited with 35 Watt bulbs)
(2) Relays
(1) Toggle Switch
14 Gauge Wire (I used bulk extension cord)

On low beam the fog light are brighter than the headlight on the truck. But on high beam I can see nearly a full 1/2 mile down the road light it was daylight. Great for keeping an eye on the darn deer that like to feed along the highway... I've got to replace 2 relays they got water in them and rusted... OPPS! Remember to get mountable relays and mount them to the fender...

You might want to look at this too...

Multi-funtion stick

Or... The overhead switch console...

Both of those look great. Only trouble is, I have an Auto and a Lie-O-Meter
