these prices are ridiculous, but, hey, what can you do.

another tip for when that handle wont stay locked: use a snuff can. turn it on its side and put it in there. i have used this method alot.

Make sure your getting "COLD FUEL" and fill it at a slower rate "LESS FOAMING".

As for making your fuel stretch farther... Drive slower (55 MPH) it really does help. Another secret for Cummins "Keep your Pyro below 600*F and boost below 5 PSI and good MPG numbers WILL come!" See below on my ScanGauge II...

At 65 MPH

At 55 MPH

If you could do it safely on back roads drop even lower to 45 MPH and really gain MPG's!!!

mopar1973man: how accurate is the scanguage? it just plugs into the odbII, so wouldnt it have the same access to the same info that the lie-o-meter uses? have you compared it to hand calc?

Granted, I have an aux. 50 gallon tank in the bed, but last time I filled up at $3.85 per gal.......................72 gallons.around $280.00

Looks like the banks are going to set up a finace dept. in the corner of the fuel stations!
