DONT USE ATF. . .it is just as bad as running the kero alone.
CORRECT! ATF is n't made to burn... Todays ATF has bunch of extra stuff like friction modifiers and other chemicals...

You got to remember what the orignal diesel engine was designed to run on.. "Peanut oil" This was orignal design by R. Diesel.

So basically any kind of raw oil will burn in a diesel engine. But today diesel engines are more picky about the fuel than the older 89-93 engine which could run nearly anything through it. Like I know 3rd Gen trucks don't like heavy amount of oil but like this newer ULSD...I know you can run upwards of 1 gallon of oil in a 2nd Gen but you do loss MPG (-3 MPG)and power (-50 HP roughly).
