Nitto Terra Grapplers
I run them and they are quiet and I'm getting good tread life. 20,000+ miles and I dont see any uneven wear to them and they are nice cause I can drive half of I-40 without touching steering wheel and its a rough road if you have tralved it.
I have to put the pro-comp xtreme at plug in here... they are an awesome tire. had them on snow, shallow mud and some mildly slick trails and they work awesome. high tread life, good grip. the only complaint I've heard from someone else who drove my truck was that they had too much road noise. eh... doesnt bother me... I'm up to 73K miles IIRC on my current set. Twoforme2 had a chance to look at them 1st hand so if you'd want a 2nd opinion on how they look after 70k+ miles he'd be a good one to ask.
you might also factor in the mileage you'll get out of both and see if it's better to go one way or the other... I was shocked to see the mileage I keep getting out of my xtreme at's... 73~74k & still plenty of tread left. the sides are taking a beating though... (off roading).

I will say my Nitto's are very hard to spin. It takes alot to turn them on flat ground but once they let lose they will spin very easy till I let off the brake then they just grab. Mud I can pull a pickup where others spin and I was good. As for ice I drove 40-45 down I-40 and only lost traction once and I was in 2H the whole time.
im actually torn between the Nitto mud grapplers and the Pro Com Extreme's. Iv been able to find the nitto's on serveral sites but only one iv been able to find the Pro Comps are on 4wheelparts.com? are they the only ones to have them or am i not looking hard enough??
