Well I know I'm not on the same Generation as you... But I would say Edge Products has been my favorite hands down... I got a hell of a performance boost with a Edge Comp...

228/462 Stock (First Run)

381/826 Edge Comp 5x5 (Second Run)
379/831 Edge Comp 5x5 (Third Run)

Dyno sheet here...

for a 3rd gen, yea, edge will fit the bill quite well. however there are better out that will gove more power than edge. but you have to be carefull.

TST, smarty both will rival edge, or best it. TST above 1800 RPM's will put you in your seat hard, however below that it does leave alot to be desired. with the new rail adjustments you can make that will help. Smarty on the other hand is just plane nutz on the low end, but on the top end could use a little help. both TST and smarty will grow as you add injectors, larger turbo's or what not.

I have both, stacked with smarty on #6(130hp no timeing) and TST on 4/2 put me sideways on the interstate when I punched it at 50mph, 6th gear.

NONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

dont ask how my stock clutch is able to stay together. currently running my smarty on #9 and havent been easy on the throttle. I'm pretty impressed with this stock clutch. smarty wont break it loose even with the wild torque management, however my TST will when at 6 or higher. My Smarty is awsome, but it has a hard time matching TST. The TST module fuel hard, but it is 1800rpm and up. BTW, I dont even have the best one out there, I just have the R37

when my stock clutch does give up the ghost, I do plan on going to something good. something that can handle around 550-600hp since I do want to join the 500hp club. but I'm gunna see how far this stocker will go.

Damn... That's impressive. Have a hard time believing my TC would take that abuse without slipping like all hell. Ah, the joys of auto's. Someday...

yea, the stock TC normaly lets go around 50-75hp over stock. the stock clutch for manuals can take a bit more abuse.

when I get my TST back the next dyno day I go to I'm going to aim for the 500hp club.

I am very happy with the banks six gun with the pda, stay in level 2 or 3 and gained about 2 to a gallon, go to level 4 and mileage starts dropping but level 4 is fun, I haven't tried level 5, 6 or the speed loader, don't want to trash the transmission.
