You just made me think that I might need to try some Amsoil in the Stang... I am a fan of factory fluids. But if your trans ran on empty and is OK, that says alot. And I know the Mustang's trans takes alot more beatings than the Yoda....

factory fluids are good. . .yet I got nearly a 1mpg increase in mileage when I swapped over.

I think in the middle of the night your Ram is sabotaging your Yoda because it's jealous. That is also the reason it took a header into the woods. It doesn't want you looking at or driving that Yoda anymore.

With diesel at $4 a gallon it might be cheaper to just keep putting in tranny fluid.
