Which is it? Front and rear diffs mean a four wheel drive, yet later you say it's a 2wd. Either way, it depends on what you use the truck for. 75 90is good for the front axle andthat would be as light as I would go in the rear; only if you don't tow or haul anything heavy. 75 140 in the back if you tow/haul frequently. Or somewhere in the middle, again it depends on how and where you use your truck.

the NV4500 takes 8.5 pints of 75-90 syntorque.

if you tow alot I would suggest going with either a 75-110 for moderate towing, or 75-140 if you tow heavy. just make sure you add about 8oz of friction modifyer before adding fluid if you have a limited slip rear. and you'll ne a bit over a gallon of fluid.

so not the 75w85w cus on this website http://quad4x4.com/NV4500%20Parts.htm(scroll down and youll see the oil) they say use the 75......in any instance is this just as good or better than then the $22.00 a quart mopar that the dealerships gives uyou?

friction modifyer?? is that regardless of what kind of lube you put in?

I dont think I labeled things properly for ya looking back on my post. . .the tranny needs the 75-90 syntorque, and axels need 75-90, 110, or 140 with the friction modifyer if you have a limited slip.
