I only put in about $50 buck at atime... Just to hard to fill it up...
How does doing that affect your mileage chart? Doesn't not filling it up all of the time throw it out of whack?

Sorry to hear about your situation with your Maiden. That sucks ...

Nope... I got a formula to calculating incomplete fills too... Basically find the difference in miles from the time you last filled to the current fill. Then find the sum of all the gallons of fuel you bought from the last fill to current. The divide miles by gallons and you get a average MPG for that range of incomplete fills...

Well I'm waiting for her to get home from work and I'm going to call her and tell her to pack for her Dad's place and I'll meet her there tonight... Weather is wonderful today warm and nice perfect Goldwing weather!

As long as we keep exporting up to 500,000 barrels of diesel fuel a day to the EU the price will stay 50-90 cents a gallon higher then E-10 gas. Heck I can remember not that long ago (back in 2005) in my area when diesel was $1.68 or 25 cents a gallon cheaper then gas.

It goes over there because the cost of production is high here and they get a better price for it there. We burn about 30,000,000 barrels a day in this country. If we kept that 500,000 of domestic oilhere would it really make a difference or would the other 500,000 that we get from somewhere else suddenly go to Europe instead? Playing shell gamesat current production levels won't help anything with theprice.

Sounds to me like $4.00 was the magic number. People may not be getting RID of their trucks, but people are definately looking for something more econimical to drive.

If a truck sits in the driveway not getting driven, what's the difference between having it and not having it.

126.45 to fill up @3.95 ouch, almost double of when I bought it, then it was 75.00 to fill it with 30 gallons.

69 cents cheaper for unleaded, I might have to start driving the Dak again, this is bull ship and it causing every thing we buy to go up through the roof as well, like the higher fuel prices aren't enough to hurt us.

Trucker strike didn't help the pricemuch or did it happen

When you all can match my $4.319 for diesel then start whining... (35 Gallons x $4.319 = $151.17)

As for me I can't get rid of my truck. Because I use is quite heavily in the summer for firewood gathering for the next winter. I've got my Goldwing for cheaper ride. Like this weekend I went down to my girlfrinds place and back for $5 bucks. If I was to take the Cummins it could of easily been better that $50 bucks... UGH!

I use mine for work so I be holding on to it, but I keep less trips and the farther I'm from work the longer the days have to be so I can make as few trips as possible.

I think I've decided that the money I was saving up to get a Smarty is going to go towards a kit to start brewing my own WVO. One of my buddies in the NG told me he just started a few weeks ago for a $300 start up cost and he's making it at about $0.80 per gallon! Sign me up! (Then with all that fuel money saved up I can still get my smarty!)
