my baby got stolen

RE: my baby got stolen
it is BFE, but between midland and odessa, i think theres a half million or so, and its growing fast right now from what i hear. but thats besides the point. if they want me to spend 600 dollars +, PER vehicle, they better damn well cover me no matter where i am! they dont use gps because the police 'run' it and they use radio waves, and in fact they knock gps because they say you cant see it if your car is in a building or something

theyve never had a vehicle stolen in 31 years
On September 25, 2001 in Mexico City, Mexico, the RAVELCO Anti Theft Device was tested by CESVI-MEXICO, a company owned by the seven major insurance companies in Mexico. They tried to hot-wire the most stolen vehicle in Mexico City, a 2002 Nissan Sentra that had a RAVELCO installed on it. The CESVI Company said they would approve the RAVELCO if it passed the 8 minute test. They said no theft device or alarm ever took more than 3 minutes to bypass. After cutting wires and trying for 35 minutes they finally gave up. The next day they had the vehicle towed to a Nissan dealer to get it rewired and able to start! Needless to say the RAVELCO was approved. The RAVELCO is the only anti theft device recognized in Mexico for a discount on your insurance. With over 29 million people in Mexico City alone and nearly 200 vehicles stolen per day, the people at CESVI Company should know what does and does not work when it comes to auto theft. No alarm, tracking system or any other anti theft device is approved in Mexico. Of course this makes us at RAVELCO very proud.

Been thinking about it all since reading yours and others post here. Last month when I was in the TOTM contest, I hit the total botton, and topped out over 22k in upgrades, and I'm loading up another $5500.00 in tires and rims now.
This Revelco device would be the smartest upgrade I can think of adding it seems.
Do you currently have one, or someone you know of?

RE: my baby got stolen
havent installed it, i looked into it, i just put my comprehensive deductible to 0 so i wouldnt worry if it was stolen, wasnt planning on modding this truck out much.. but what did worry me was when i bought it my truck (year make model + 4x4) was the 2nd most commonly stolen vehicle in my city... lol
it looks pretty failsafe, will def get that on my next truck...
ouch 5k on tires, getting super singles??? and i thought 2k was a lot on tires, but im fixing to spend about 2k on moving expenses including diesel so im holding off on any not essential stuff. those bridges are erie at night in NO, i take the bypass around the city, last time though it was pitch black (well hell everytime im through there its around 2 am) but it was raining, windy was only going about 55 on the bridge.
yeah the beaners are everywhere, even in Jax Fla where im moving to.. but they sure are fun here in Span Antonio and dont expect too much in the way of fancy dining before a night of fornication... ill get to compare that to the cubans/ricans when i get to fla...
cookie monster theres no coverage area, there may not be a dealer near you but i bet a local mech, a good one like ase l1 could probably do it. it may void the warranty but since it seems that its never been stolen the need for the warrant/guarantee is prob not an issue.

This is what I'm looking at. I now have the Weld's, received them a few weeks ago after 5 months or so of being backordered. The steels are supposed to be shipped in the coming days. The tires are yet to be decided, but I'm leanning towards the Goodyears.
(4) Weld's Racing 19.5's...........$1875.00
(3) Rickson steel rims..............$ 898.28
(7) Goodyear 265/70/19.5........$2888.00 (approximate)
Total....................................$5661.28
Very soon after will be the Revelco device. Just tonight I spoke with Todd Rivers whom is the dealer for my area. His price is $469.99 installed. Price is higher than whats posted on their website. I'll have to meet him in Baton Rouge, unless I can find another interested party for installation. In that event, he'll come to Covington, outside of New Orleans. Speakle lives close by, maybe he'll be interested.
Pic's of the rims........
