Default my baby got stolen

i know i havnt been on here for a while. iv been m.ia. sorry guys. i was meaning to update yall on new stuff that i had gotten and tried out. well wensday my sis took the truck to work. she parked it and put the alarm on and when shes ready to leave. the truck isnt there. this sucks. i had put alot of work into it. my sound system is gone. my speed products are gone. they didnt break a window. they stole a silverado too. so most likly its going to mexico. edge programer, ats plenum, banks wastegate are gone along with some new things
carbon fiber hood, ats exhaust mani and banks 4in pipe, ats valve body and torque converter. good thing i didnt put in the aurora5000 in it yet. and to make things worse i should be getting the paper work for the banks intake manifold so that i could have gotten the head preped for install *(for those that havnt seen it yet)----> http://www.truckblog.com/story-1596-...00108_duramax_

i suggest you all take care of ur babies. install a lowjack and a gps tracking device. i so should have..but didnt. now it just bites me in the ***.
i look into the future but with sadness. i still have the aurora5000(might sell) and the paper work fot the manifold. i would realy like to get another truck. same 5.9 with the same 325 engine. what years did those come out in. i konw 04 did but did it also come in the 05? maybe i should just go for the mega cab... ill post pics and info on the days to come.

That sucks. I've been there with my first vehilce. They found it but it was never the same.

Honestly though <prepares for blaspemous outrage> I don't even care if mine gets taken. It's a truck. I know I shouldn't feel this way, but I learned after the first one (and then the next 2 got broken in to) not to get too attached to them. They're like women, you can always replace them.

Hope the wife doesn't see this post!!

Where in the hell are you all living, that you put up with aholes breaking in your truck, they better do it quite, because I make a lot of noise when woke up and that's why I leave the dog in the truck during the day.

Ah man, that sucks. It happens, and It blows I know. My first car was stolen last August when I was in Iraq. 1973 Chevy Nova, stolen by Mexicans. At the same time, my buddy's dads Cadillac Sedan DeVille and his Bronco were stolen. My car was being stored at his house while I was gone.

As for the low jack, I paid the 590 bucks to get it on my truck, but it was not available in my area, so now I am still fighting to get my money back.

sorry to hear about your luck there buddy. my friends truck just got stolen along with his dads truck while they were both at work. they only found one, it was a 1500 dodge and the one that dident come back was a 2500 chevy. as soon as i heard that i immediately went out to my truck and took all my tools out of the back seat that i rarely use, i took all of my bank information outta there along with alot of cds i had sitting in books and my job numbers and plans. if you have a plain jane truck stolen with nothing in it most likely you will make out with insurance money and have nothing to complain about. i started to think about my truck and all the after market mods that i put into it along with the tools and work paperwork....... some of that stuff will never be able to be replaced or accounted for, it would be a complete loss. i see this is what happened to you and its terrible!

although low-jack is the wisest thing to do, most of us including me will never get around togetting one put on because you think its never going to be "you"[:-]

i live in houston, tx..were so close to the border. ill really miss my truck. i talked to the insurance agent and he said that if i can prove i had these things in there, they will cover 75% of the cost i had put into it. ima see if i can get one of my cousins friends to make me a receipt of a good alarm to show that i just did put things in it. he owns his own audio shop.... now i see that the factory alarm is a no no. i

as for the aurora..let me get things settled to see if ima get another truck or **** it and get me a subi.. i love the truck, i can haul *** and haul some ***. but diesel price is getting to the point that kinda hurts my pocket. but i will let u know.

Anybody ever heard of jimmyjammers for anti-theft? Heard guys in forums say they are good. Like anything thoughI guess if someone wants your truck bad enough it doesn't matter what you do but slowing them down might help..
