RE: 07 cummins, emissions controll
Tin, what is the outcome?
What did the Dodge guy tell you they are going to do to fix your problem?
What are the other guy's who are having similar problems doing?
Do you think it has anything to do with the fuel that you are useing? that is the first thing that popped into my head when you mentioned that there are others in your area with the same problem. I dunno .... just throwin it out there.

To Tell the truth, the dodge guy knows I know more about the system than he does, or he's a real good poker hand. I told him how & why when the emissions light is on the truck is making diesel into the engine oil. He also couldn't tell me if there is a differance between the 07 & 08. He tried for two days to find anything from chrysler but couldn't. Its not his fault, he needs more factual information and support. I took the truck back and bought a duromax.

RE: 07 cummins, emissions controll
I was in the shop yesterday trying to flash the comp to shut off the regens and my tech friend showed me the fix for the soot in the turbo problem- it was some type of contraption with a valve and a steel hose(didn't really pay too much attention to it. I was talking to a guy at 4 wheel parts and he was telling me that a dealership in texas is selling their 6.7's with the dpf delete kit as an option to eliminate the problem.
