This in turn is heat saturating the cylinders and eventually will cause a melt down if not careful
Sounds like an issue someone around here exprienced a while back

^^ True.. ha ha ha.. I have hit 38 lbs on one occasion and 41 on another.. but I was into it really hard too.

So I'd wind up with a CEL if I installed a boost fooler... Doesn't sound worth it to me...

thats what the boost fooler keeps from happeneing. . .

BTW, Ive been doing some tests with my smarty on #4 and #5. . .on #5 my EGT's are about 200F cooler and my boost numbers are actualy 5psi lower. yet I have the same butt dyno feel between the two, save ALOT less smoke on #5

it is amazing what extra timeing can do.
