Stacking
Hey all,
I'm runningthe PPE right now, and I have my old Power Pup lying around. I wondering if they can be stacked? I remember seeinga compatibility chart, does anyone remember where that chart is or have a copy?
Thanks

not realy. . .a good chart would include the parameters they adjust. such as TST timeing/duration/pressure, MP8 Timeing/pressure, Van Aakien timeing/pressure. . . . .and so on. I know what quite a few adjust, I just dont know all. But I can tell you those that hook to the MAP and Rail alone are strictly timeing/pressure. if you hook to the crank then you are still timeing/pressure. but when you hook to the injectors themselves that is when you get your duration of holding the injectors open longer.
you can do timeing and pressure, you can do timeing and duration, you can do all three, but you cannot do just pressure duration. any time you increase pressure, you normaly have a boost sence, fooling the boost will advance timeing.
now, when it comes down to it, timeing/duration will give you a heck of a power boost on the top end, pressure will help you big time on the low end, while helping keep the rail pressureized on the top end. too much timeing is hard on the head gasket and pistons(drive pressure gets rather high), however it goes a long way in reduceing EGT's. too much pressure will crack injectors, however will help keep the rail pressureized under high demand. too much duration can lead to extreem EGT's and burn up the turbo/valve/valve seats/pistons/injector tips/just about the entire engine
this whole time I have been talking about plug in boxes. Programmers are a whole different being.

How about something like this: http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?k...o8N2twce2FC4BQ
This chart is for 2nd Gen VP44s, but I can't imagine it being too far off. To give credit where credit is due, I found this on http://www.cumminsfourm.com and it was written by user Patracy with input from several members.
