I'm running dic cepek FC II 35x13.5x20s, auto with 3.73 and a 6" lift.Withdiablo predator set on economy, I was around 16mpg hiway running 68mph (GPS) with rpms around 1750. I have since installed new injectors (1 cracked body 3 had weak returns), had the speedo re-calibrated and took a BFH to the diablo (damn thing was causing problems with how the cummins ran). With no programmer, running 65 - 70mph at 1750rpm I'm getting 19 to 20.5mpg. I have towed with this set up (10k# TT and trailer with 8K# frontend loader) I see 13-15mpg doing 6mph.
With the programmer I was having to much fun, blowing smoke, racing and just all out being stupid. So this would be the reason for poor mileage andpossibly the cause for broken injectors.I just recieved my Smarty jr. (not looking for tons of power) gonna try a programmer again, if it works better then that piece of **** diablo I'll be happy, if not I may have a Smarty jr for sale. Also got my 05 cummins service manual on CD from Genos, so I have lots of reading to do, should be "a know it all" soon!

I still have yet to hand calculate a full tank because I'm absent minded until I have 100 miles on a tank, but I'd guess it's somewhere around 18 on the hiway and 14 with hwy/city combined.

I calc fuel mileageby hand and by ScanGauge II... I'm finding that going back to a Stock road radial and pulling my Cooper STT's off I gained about 3 MPG. Stock sized tires. Just tread pattern will change the MPG a bunch...

But to help just keep the Pyro under 600*F and boost below 5 PSI and 20+ MPG will happen... Like in my SIG!

I have been looking at the Tuff Country kits since they are about half as much as a Superlift. Are those kits one of those parking lot queens or is it actually a good off road kit? It sounds like "you get what you pay for" any insight?

In my old '03 I had a 6" Superlift with 35x13.5x20 ProComp Extreme A/T and I got around 13-14 mpg.I sold that truck and kept the tires andwheels and put them on the new truck with no lift and on last tank hand calculated I got 13.7 mpg. So, I'm not sure how much the lift affects fuel efficiency. I baby it for the most part, only drive 110 km/h ( I think that's around 70 mph) on the freeway and only leave the odd puff of black smoke.
