This Guy is a friend of mine, he was in my unit. I have known him ever since we got to Fort Hood in 2005. So I have known his for 3 years. This is horrible, I have already emailed his congressman, maybe he can help him out seeing the Army doesnt give a **** about him.

yep he's screwed for the most part, i watched a 60 minutes years ago where a guy got stuck in the lanes to enter mexico, when he pulled up to the mexican guard he explained that he wasnt wanting to enter mexico and wanted to turn around, he stated he also had a firearm. threw him in the clink and the us justice dep couldnt do a thing...

 

It is bullchit! Thousands of those dirty ******* come into our country every single day, and the Mexican Government doesnt do a damn thing about it. But when one of ours Accidentally crosses over into their chithole, they wont let him go. I say fukk the War in Iraq, the problem is with Mexico. I would have no problem offing any one of those dirty pieces of chit. Set my *** on a mountain along the border with a rifle, unlimited ammo, food and water and I will have no problem sitting there for 12 months protecting what really matters.

Damn. I don't know how busy your congress people are there, but ours here have taken up to 6 months to get back to me when I had a problem I brought to their attention. I can't believe that DOJ or JAG hasn't taken this issue by the throat. I agree with you Az. End the war in Iraq and Afganistan and let's adjust fire a few thousand miles south... Damn man, that does royally suck major ***.....as I know how easily that can happen. Traffic along the border can be a royal PITA to turn around or get out of.

Hopefully, something can be done to help your friend out....but it probably will take some time. Dont exactly write off the Army either, as they are probably trying to do something about it.


Lastly, I grew up on Ft. Hood....went to Jr. High & High School at Ft. Hood and in Killeen.....so I know the area pretty well.... nice to hear of people in familiar places....
