If we are all hurting on Diesel cost ,i would hate to see what the big trucker are doing.

 

Well all the truckers I know are just slowing down on the highway. We the speed limit is 65mph they go 60mph they say thats an increase of 1mpg which doesnt sound like alot but when you have a 300-600gallon fuel tank is matters.

 

prolly gonna start seeing more and more drafting convoys...

well this is true with meskin gas, its ****ty and will FyouCK your engine up.....

 

there have been alot of those convoys here around atlanta. . .they are usualy going 60-65 and 5-8 trucks long. . .for I-285 that is a sign.

 

Since youre in atlanta, you know what their mass transit system MARTA stands for right? lmao.. well i wont say it here.


as for the convoys when i would make trips up to nc va and ny from fl i would would run behind one at night, theyve gone up to 85 but usually 70-78 when its between midnight and 4am so it works out pretty good...

if gas hits 4 bucks ill see if i can talk to one at a truck stop and see if i can tie a 10 ton strap from my tow hooks to his rear end....

 

I run the Ohio/ Indiana turnpike daily and we are all hanging around the limit. I think the troopers are gonna start picking off 4 wheelers for smaller infractions to keep the revenues up. I got pulled over for 6 over while passing another rig.

 

oh yea. . .I know all about the Moving certian people Rapidly Through Atlanta

 

Sooner or later the trucks are just gonna stop moving altogether. Sad thing is, that may be the only thing that gets fuel prices down
