the silencer ring on the 6.7's can be removed. . .it is pressed into the compressor houseing. if you can get a flathead screwdriver in there it will come out. . .but most guy's havent heard a difference without it.

also, I yanked that molded piece out of my intake, just dremel off the outer edges and a swift wack with a hammer she came out.

Dont ask what the scaring is on the vane in the 10 O'Clock position. I have no Idea. This is the very first time I have ever taken off my intake tubing. WTF?

Yeah, I wasn't sure how it was in there. I knew they didn't use the snap ring anymore.

Hopefully he won't put it all back together after he takes the pics now that he'll find out that he CAN remove the ring.

Too late, already put it all back together. No big deal. I got it all apart, took pics, got it all back together and uploaded the pics with 5 minutes. Do you think I should take my truck in because of the vane scaring?

Lol, I knew yall would analize and ask questions. I have a pit bull. I try to learn about his breed as much as I can. As for the toy, it was a toy stuffed dog that barks and does backflips, I got it on sunday, and here is what it looks like today. When I just snapped the picture of what is left of the skin, I was holding it 5 feet in the air. My 4 month old dog just jumped that high and grabbed it, as you can see in the picture.

No, that is not a Potato on the ground. It is what is left of a chew toy. The stuffed cat is his to destroy. I know he has odd markings for the breed, but both parents are pure bred pit. Registered on the Pit Bull Registry, he has papers. Lagit. He was $50 cheaper because of his markings.
