Azcummins...

Took that center piece out of my truck just before last winter...haven't had any problems with it out. I do notice that I hear the turbo spool more...don't think it has made a difference in the truck...but you can hear her whistle a little more...

Lol. Yeah WAY OT. The chupacabra myth is in Az too. Have seen 1 hairless dog there. Domesticated, ugly, stupid, but nice. And that turbo is HUGE!

I want to assume it benefits the truck somehow. It free's up alot of space. I am sure the engine can now breathe at least a little better.

I was thinking the same thing. I mean, the volume difference! It has to do SOMETHING!! But I guess if it doesn't, at least it sounds cool as hell.

Oh yeah, it sounds alot better. Today I also found peices of foam rubber in the fender when the front doors are open. I am gonna assume it is more sound deadening. I am gonna remove it, becuase it looks like it will allow airflow into the engine compartment.

i ripped my baffles out of the intake and it sounds alot nicer. not obnoxious like my dads D-Max (his sounds like a 747 engine is spooling up in the seat next to you), but it is definately more noticeable. i havent noticed any change in performance. i can not get over how much it restricted the intake.
