ORIGINAL: 92oilburner

2500=3/4 ton=1500 pounds
3500=1 ton=2000 pounds

I had 2180 pounds in the back of my dually, and it was just barely on the helpers.
they're rated for more than that. as stated before, check the door sticker for exact weights...bed length, and cab configurations will cause it to vary between trucks

hell the f150 yes 150 does 3,000 pounds, yet the tires arent rated for that and they get stress fractures.. nice planning there...

Here's mine with 4120 pounds in it, but then I did go that far either, but it didn't sag and drove well

Few weeks ago I had some 30 bags of 80# quikrete and about 50 boards in the back. Somewhere in the neighborhood of 2600 lbs. It was squatin', but never touched the bumpstops.
