Default How do I find trails??

I am looking for some 4x4 trails to check out around my area. I live near St.Louis Mo, so anything in a 25-50 mile radius would be sweet. I know there is stuff out here, I just can't figure out a way to find them.

I am a member of a rv and 4 wheeler park (just over 6000 acres), in southern Mo. It is 250 miles from my house. I really enjoy going there, but it is just a little too far for a one day or even a weekend trip.

thanks guys-

there's a lot of pay sites that have trail links. I just refuse to pay for information. Prolly go to a 4x4 shop and ask them.

Pffttt.. please?.. 4x4 shop?.. hahaha, I wish. There is only one 4x4 shop near me that I know of, and they probably don't know much (judging by phone conversations I have had in the past with other questions). I willl call them in the morning though, I guess it is worth a shot.

thanks man

Savage, so you are running the Tuff Country lift right?

How does it ride and how much was it for the lift and install?

Don't mean to hijack your thread btw

It was $789 for the lift from www.topguncustomz.complus between 150-280 for shocks depending on which ones you get, I installed myself so i guess that was free. The ride is great, I guess. I can't image it riding any different than any other short arm lift. Compared to stock it is definitelya rougher ride, most likely due to the steeper angle of the control arms. For the money it is definitely worth it.. it lets you tuck the bigger meats and gets you those few extra inches to take her off road.... I'm sure I won't be racing baja anytime soon with it though .

Yeah I know . What is funny is I don't really consider myself in BFE?.. I mean I live literally just outside one of the biggest cities in the country, i guess there just ins't that big of a following here [:@].

If you look up 4x4 shop or whatever in yahoo yellow pages there will be a few results, but when you start calling them most of them don't exist. it seems as if people try to start up a shop but they just can't ever make it past that initial slow period without going out of business.

The carli jump video is what I am shooting for in the future... I showed my wife that vid maybe3 days ago and told her within 2 months my truck would be doing that smae thing... she just rolled her eyes and walked away .

The second vid looks about right for now though .
