I wasn't sure if it was you or Drew who had the camera mount thing.
Can't you take some standing still rolling coal shots?

The problem is that you're not putting a load on the engine and the RPM's come up too fast. You don't fuel very much doing that. You have to get a bit of a load on it to really smoke it up.
I'll get you some pics. As soon as I get the new tranny in, I'll lay in 'er good. I don't wana power brake it right yet, as this thing will eat the TC apart right now.

Hey Rich, with your new found horse power gains, what are your thoughts of in the near future requiring internal engine upgrades. I really don't want to have to go into my engine, but with all the additional pressures, do you think that re-studding the head, or even a fire ring job is in the future.
What also comes to mind is a larger turbo, intercooler, intake and exhaust manifolds.
I guess upgrading all the engine componets can really get insane if ya get carried away with it. I know that Triton had no choice since he fried his pistons, but I want to remind myself that my ride wasn't built for the track. I dig his truck, and take it as a compliment to be mentioned in the same paragraph as his, but our rides are just built for different applications.
Non the less, I get off on these little things I do to my ride. But somewhere I need to say "whoa".

My main concern is keeping the power safe.
My truck is my daily driver and I'm not about to fry 'er.
They way I look at it is this. I'm gonna try and make as much reasonably safe power as I can.
The things I am mainly concerned with is rail pressure and egt's.
M next order of business is gonna be a FASS 150 to keep the injection pump happy. After that, the intercooler and intake manifold are getting replaced.
If, and this is a big if, I notice that I am continually getting EGT's that are too high, I'll look into a set of twins and then you'd need to "start" looking at studding the heads. Where you really run into trouble is when you start dropping the NOS and propane and really start putting pressure on the OEM studs or you run the timing advanced too far and it's predetonating on you.
Right now, I'll be keeping the Attitude monitor on the settings I have. Alarm goes off at 1250, defuels at 1350. At 38 psi it alarms and at 40 it defuels. Usually, if I hear the alarm, I back out of it pretty quick. No reason to fry it just to play.
But, like you, I love tinkering with my stuff......ALL my stuff.....Nothing stays stock with me.....Stock sucks. Where do I say whoa? When the wife goes, "Uh, hey, moron, you know that's gonna F something up." Usually she's right.......not like she knows me or anything.
