Damn Riv. That looks bad ***! I'm an idiot when it comes to saving money, so I fully support you dropping as much $$$ into that rig as you possibly can without losing your house... or wife. Whichever.

Alcoa unfortunately doesnt make an 8 lug 19.5 rim. I'd have to use adapters. Adapters are just one more thing to go wrong, also adds unsprung weight and unsprung weight = worse ride.
From what I heard about adapters, that helped me narrow my selection down to which bolt on rims to consider.

Here are a few other wheel company's that may help.

Vision Wheels

Bentz Wheels

American Force Wheels

Southwest Wheel Company

When I saw the Weld's, that did it for me. Another nice thing about the Weld's they're chromed aluminum, if that matters at all. Also, they're made in the US, not sure about the others.

The two tone paint was the first thing that I noticed on that black Ram Riv. What 2nd color were you thinking about going with?

Hey Cumminz, no, I haven't re-calibrated the speedo yet. I did go to the dealership, and they quoted $40.00 to do it.

Hey Mayfair, Yeah, I've always had 2 tone painted trucks. I think that either silver or maybe even tanish gold like on the black mega would look good. That of course is down the line, which leads me to this:
Hey DBLR, I want to thank you for an earlier point that you made and have been thinking over how I really want to reply to it.
Yeah, We all dump alot of money, time and just presence of thought into these trucks of ours. We'll never get back but only a fraction of our original investments into these trucks. Some may say that they are dependant on their trucks for their livihood. Woli, of course comes to mind. But I have to think that the vast majority of us upgrade or modify these trucks purely out of enjoyment and personal satisfaction. (OK now cumminalong, no sexual inuendos intended there!)
With that said, most people need some sort of outlet. Could be a sport, a cultural environment or something in the arts. What ever it may be, we all need to do something besides just going to work. I know guys that play the odds at the casinos, and the feel satisfaction from that. Not me of course, but I happen to fall into, as well as many others here, the hobbie,if you will, of modifying my ride. I know that I'll never come close to re-couping the money I've put into it, but it's given me a degree of reward in seeing where the truck has been, and where I'm taking it.
I know I'm getting long winded here, so in closing, as long as I do not harm what is most important in my life, such as my family's future, or myself.........what the hell, I can't take it with me!
(Special note for Mayfair)

I'm referring to money and real estate. As for my ride..........I'm gonna get buried in that sucka!

I'll climb back into my holenow with the rest of theDieselphiles.

BigRiver,

Here's a link from Ricksons on their electronic re-calibration devices.
http://www.ricksontruck.com/speedometer.html

Also I found this on ebay. It's a device from Superchips that will do the job.

I'm going to keep looking around, probably till I talk myself into gettin the Smarty...............................and a kevlar vest.
