Murphy Oil has been the cheapest for meand then don't adjust their prices by the hour, like most do now days.

All here is the trend for Fuel_Gasoline so see if we somehow can benefit. I don't see any relief in the short term

Your right Oil Companies don't make much on a Gallon of Fuel or Gasoline. Exxon make only about $0.10c on a Gallon of Gas. I have looked at the data. The Government Fed'smakes $0.18c a gallon of gas and $0.24c on gallon of Diesel. Now state taxes are as high as MN. taking $0.44c a Gallon of gas. Here is a great Web link that does one of the best jobs of keeping track and helping me understand what's going on with Energy. Enjoy![sm=icon_cheers.gif]

Heck I've gone in to Wally World and looked over to Murphy to see what the price of fuel is and then come out of the store 1/2 hour later to see its gone up. Then I go shopping in up town and when I head home a few hours later the price has gone back down to where it was the first time I looked. So I know first hand Murphy USA can and does change its prices faster then you realize even though you may not see them doing it at your station.

So the bigger ones may have someone to take it up and down by the hour, or maybe we have a honest manager who gets whathe paid for the fuel and know it doesn't go up in price sitting in the ground for an hour.
Our Murphy USA station is located in a town of 29,172 people. It's not what I would call a big market. Though I can say they are now playing with the gas prices several times a day.
My local Chevron station has a new larger green sign out "WE HAVE DIESEL" Then I saw the price on their board $4.39 to which I thought "Yah at that price you better advertise you have it, thinking it was too high." Got home and did a search and turns out their not high as of today in Austin, TX. Two weeks ago I filled up for $3.99 at Murphy, guess that was the last time under $4/gallon for me.
