On the way home today I got a lamp out light come on, according to the 05 manual it come on when a headlight is out or a wiring problem, but every lamp is lit, do i need to start unplugging connectors and plugging them back in or what.
Thanks ahead of time to all who know more than I, but then that's a long list LOL

when the resistance gets too high it will trigger the lamp out indicator. anything from dielectric grease, to replacing the bulbs, to even replacing the assembly has fixed the problem
Handymanherb, start with the tail light assemblies, number of Ram owners having issues with the "lamp out". The tail light "bar" leaves a lot to be desired, check bulb conditions and sockets. Make sure you do have brake lights as well as single each side and third brake light. Good luck.
Brake light out right side hit the flashers thought that would tell me if it was out, but brakes lights are different on the new trucks, so I used a broom to set the brakes and found it .
Now to get it replaced, but I still have 2 burning anyway.
Manual was no help, said it only applied to headlight system, so that's why I didn't check the brake lights before, I had every thing else on but the brakes. so thanks Splat and Drew
