And no it doesn't involve kicking out all the illegal aliens.

Post in ot, but in your title say CTD OT, this way itll allow you to scan that section easily. Don't discourage other mbers from posting in the thread. But figure that'll help introduce the ctd guys to the rest of the forum and the other way around.

what do yall think?

Sounds like a pretty good Idea, but then the Moderators would get pissed and move all the CTD posts to the CTD section, and they would start complaining because it is not "Off Topic." LMAO, getting outa hand aint it?

What works better for "you all" is to leave the posts in the CTD section unless someone makes a comment to move it some place else.

Otherwise, to me, it seems as if it's relavent and pertinent to the group.

If someone asks for help making a signature, and they know someone in here is good at it, what's the problem asking for help where you know that person will see it?

What works for us is to not force the folks that frequent THIS section of the forum to go into places that we otherwise would have NO interest in going.

Each section has it's personality. Right now, this sections personality is aggrevated.

And? Virtually every car I've owned in the last 9 years has been a Mopar... when I went looking for a new car, the only options I had were overpriced. This is the choice I made.....performance and 4 doors....with decent gas mileage...

Guess what, you sound like a broken record. This isnt the CumminsForum, its DODGEFORUM. If someone comes in asking about signatures, by all means help them. You can simply point them in the direction of the Chop Shop, where we place all those requests. If one of the CTD guys wants to help them, I see nothing wrong with it. The point is, that that has NOTHING TO DO WITH CTDS.....and therefore DOESNT need to stay there...

And quite frankly, this section isnt anymore special then anyone else.....and I'm tired of the whining.....

I sound like a broken record because you are hearing the same thing from multiple sources.

And, you are 100% correct that these is nothing special about THIS SECTION. Most of what happens in the CTD section is light hearted and generally of little technical value. Technically involved topics are the exception, not the norm. If we kept this section to strictly CTD related posts, it would be DEAD! Why, because most of us have zero issues with our trucks.

You know what's great about that? New guys can come in and not feel completely intimidated when they ask a question that, for some of us, may seem simple. It may be off topic, but you know what? We have a CHOICE to click on that topic and post relavent info. Or we can simply move one.

Light hearted, off topic posts help build comraderie and friendships. There are people in this section that have met up from hundreds of miles apart for NO OTHER REASON than they drive a CTD and like BSing with each other.

Sorry, but I won't drive 100 miles to meet up with little Timmy in his Stratus to discuss headlight bulbs and color matched door handles.

I hear ya cumminalong and agree but this going no where fast. There are far better forums than this one for the CTD, some have been mentioned already if you need more pm me. There really isnt a whole lot of posting here usually, it will diminish even farther which will make the other sites that much more attractive. Like I have stated already, I have been a member on a few other forums where admin started making changes that did nothing but **** off the frequent posters and now those sites are..welll...some of the less respected and least visted.
