Me and some buddies were messing around down at their shop. The vid is with both trucks in 2wd, the owner of the 1st gen wouldnt let us put up the vid of me in 4wd and him in 2wd, it was a massacre, LOL

I bet you waxed him in 4x4. I ran my brother in hisDenali and got out about 2 truck lengths in 4x4but he then came back and put it on me at about 60 mph. LOL. 4x4 launches can't be good for our parts.

I thought a hood stack would be kick *** on mine, but I have no idea what all would go into a mod like that...

a hood stack is not that hard, just turn the down tube 180* and add in a few bends up to the hood, then cut a hole in the hood about 1" larger in diameter, slap on the stack and your good. just make sure the tube from the turbo extends about 1-2" into the stack mounted on the hood.

however there is something else to consider, local ordinances about where the exhaust can exit the vehicle. most laws dont like the exhaust exiting the vehicle infront of the cab.

Drew, do you think that 1" oversize cutout is enough? I would think that it would need to be much bigger to allow you to open / close the hood

I guess it all depends on how tall the stack is huh?
