Default Tire Pressure Monitor

Has anyone used one of these or a similar product to monitor the tire pressure on a trailer?

http://www.tirepressuremonitor.com/t...ng-system2.htm

I had 2 blow outs on my trailer this past weekend and the "G" rated tires are now over $300 each. I just spent $1212.11 for 4 good year tires on my trailer. Thanks to the manufactorer putting on cheap china tires to save a buck. I also have about $1000 in damage to the trailer from the blowouts busting the wheel well and fenders to pieces. So I was thinking one of these might be a good investment.

That is a really good idea. I am expecting a blowout on my trailer. I can tell they have seen alot of potholes from the previous owner. There is no dry rot, but there is alot of chunks out of the tread. I am leaving friday/saturday at midnight and I still dont have any extra wheels to put on the bronco.
Bob- do you think I could deflate the tires on the bronco and be ok?

Only if you have Firestone tires.

With tires at $300+ each I'm thinking it would be a very good investment.

$300 tires and $5 diesel I am starting to wonder if may traveling & shooting days are over.

Bob, not to scare ya, but just to let you know

My Pop's friend just had brand new tires installed on his trailer. When the guy went to pick up his trailer, he noticed that the tires were already 2 years old !!

Make sure you check the date code on the tires. I'd hate to see you spend 300+ on 2 year old tires.

Bob, There were a whole bunch of trailer tires that got reacalled lst year. Hope you checked. We got 4 new Goodyear's on the fifth wheel for free cause the factory put some chinese crap on.

Here I found a partial list.. couldn't cut and paste it[:@]
