So how many MPG does your lie-o-meter say?

ORIGINAL: Az2500Cummins08

I have been going off my GPS, which is telling me my odometer is only off by a couple miles. I dont know how many times my truck has gone into regen, i am going to assume none since my steady speed at the rpm keeps my engine hot enough right? i am not doing 72 at 1800, according to my gps. firemedic is running the same lift and tires I am and he is seeing almost double my mileage.

az that 150 miles only .25 into your tank ain't gonna be right. Mines always better the first half of the tank than the last. Just gotta wait till you fill er up and do the math.

Firemedic has also deleted his DPF and is running an Edge box, if I remember right.

lie o meter reads 13.2 currently. If this is the mileage we are to expect from the 6.7 than sales are gonna drop like mad with todays fuel prices. I would be getting better mileage from a Hemi. dodge and cummins have a nasty letter coming to them.

You should send the letter, but they already know. I went to the Cummins customer appreciation event last month in New Braunfels, TX and the Cummins reps got an earful from customers about the lousy MPG. The Cummins factory is only producing about 425 engines a day with a capacity of 750. Not that it will make you feel any better, but the 2008 Chevy and Ford Diesels are apparently getting even worse MPG with the required emissions treatment.

LOL nice one ken.
Highwater can be pretty bad. I load my bed up with 400#s when it floods here, I've have my rear slide on me going through a highwaysr crossing before. Good thing for 4wd.

Seems like if FireMedic is getting almost double your mileage his upgrades might be well worth it at double MPG.
