Default fass/airdog comments

I'm about to purchase an airdog 150 system because of the $200 difference in cost of the system, lower micron filtration, and cheaper replacement filters compared with the fass. Does anyone have any feedback/experience that could persuade me otherwise? My truck doesn't like to start when lower than half a tank, and I'm hoping to eliminate the problem by replacing the lift pump that I was planning on replacing anyways (for power upgrades) Any feedback is appreciated.
PS: the lowest price I can find for the airdog is $539
Thanks

I'd like to hear also. I'm not sure if my lift pump decided to take a vacation when I was swapping my filter, but it is now not pumping any fuel into the filter housing.

the way i understand the differance between the two is that the same guy desinged them both.the air dog has a quieter pump motor (brushless) and better filtration.

They were originally a father / son design.

The father came up with the design (AirDog) and the son, basically, stole it and you have the FASS.

Both good setups, far superior to the stocker, you won't go wrong with either.

One or the other. I couldn't remember the way it went down.

I dont think their pricing ever changed. I was luck enough to find one that someone never installed and was selling ($375)
