Also the reason they gave for the engine sieze was bad oil, or neglegance in oil changes, but I have the paperwork, I change the oil every 5000 miles even tho the maintenece schedule says 7500. It comes down to being mechanical, not everything always runs perfectly! Thats why there is such thing as a WARRANTY!

 

Well im not saying the vegi is a bad idea and if i called dodge and they said its fine as long as its not the cause of any engine trouble then i would probly have done it to but my trucks so old to where i wouldnt have to do that any way needless to say you covered your @ss and and they dont give a crap so im sorry man i hope you get it worked out

 

i know where u are coming from on the warranty issue. my 06 has had a noisy vibration since it had 600 miles on it from the transmission and dealerships in Colorado, Wyoming, and Kansas all say there is not a problem. funny thing is that i only have 52000 miles on it and have replaced the flywheel twice already as well as the rear main seal(obviously from a vibration). now that the drive train is out of warranty the dealership suddenly has a solution that the idler bearing is out of the transmission. funny they couldn't tell me that before the warranty was up. now it will cost me 3,500 dollars to replace the tranny.
