Nope, the only thing I use is Amsoil's cold flow improver when winter hits here, but other than that, I don't use any additives. I see no need to condition the fuel.. The ONLY reason I use the Amsoil cold flow is to prevent fuel gelling in colder temps, which we get here.

I don't understand the gelling thing, (I know what it means) I just don't get why some people have that problem and some don't? It averages -15 to -25 C here all winter with lows of -40 for a stretch and I don't use conditioner nor have I had gelled fuel.

Where I am at, I see temps of as low as 15* farenheight (-9 celcius.).. I have never had a fuel gellingn problem but the Amsoil cold flow improver is mostly just a "failsafe" for me.

i get that, just that i have seen guys with gelled fuel and guys with no problems, and both fuelled from the same tank. maybe it's more a filter thing?

Hmmm.. that's interesting.. Don't know if its a filter problem or not.. I change my filter every 20k whether my gauges are showing that it needs it or not...
