Default HELLPPPP!!! I need truck advise

Ok, so here's the deal. I am looking into buying my friend's 1995 Black Ram 2500. Its got 260,000 miles on it, Cummins Diesel stock engine, still runs like a dream, has a lift kit on it. I'm wondering how many more miles I could possibly get out of it. It's been one owner and that is my friend. He took exceptional care of it and never missed a maintenance date. There are no problems with it right now. I'm just wanting a rough estimate of how many miles I can expect to get out of it before it busts. I live in Missouri, so its hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Thanks a bunch.

Just be aware when parts fail on a diesel they are usually more expensive than a gasser. I would still go with a diesel any day of the week myself if I could afford one. I'm sure the diesel guys here will be more than happy to provide info and advise.
