Default 12-vs-24

Im thinkin about trading in my gas dodge for a diesel but dont know which one. Im wanting a 90's model but dont know if i want the 12v or 24v. I do a lot of drivin town highways but will also be using it to pull a race car trailer. Im working on buying my grandpas farm so in the future ill probably be using it to pull hay and stock trailers. I want to keep this truck for a long time and would like to know the pros and cons of both engines and which years would be the best to look for. Thanks for any help.

My first thought would be repairs! the injector pump is fairly simple in the 12v. I would also go w/ a manual trans!

the 12 is much more reliable, and very cheap to upgrade, and manual is definatly the way to go

Valves, not volts.

IMO the 12v is the way to go for any number of reasons.

agreed go with 12v pretty much bullet proof! IMO i think a 98 12v is the best since it has the updated cab...
