Default Looking to purchase a 2000 regular cab 3500

I am looking to buy a 2000 regular cab 3500 with a Cummings diesel. It has a flat bed on it, 5 speed tranny, 4x4, and 110,000 miles. He is asking 7500.00 for it. Is there any notorious problems to look at when I inspect this truck and drive it? Does it sound like it may be a descent deal to you guys?

Thanks Texas-Ram! I really like the truck as I have seen it all the time where I work at. I just want to drive it and check the interior out to make sure it isn't busted up. It does need tires per the owner but I was still thinking it might be a descent deal. I just wanted to run it by you guys first since all of you have owned dodge trucks.

What is the towing capacity for a truck like this? I haul bucking bulls and hay. I will be running trailers with around 20,000 pounds. Will this truck hold up to that? I do not want to get a truck that can't pull the load or stop the load when needed. Thanks for all the help!!!!

It will pull it easy no problems. I would get a Manual then straight pipe it a CAI and a a programmer to add a little extra power and better MPGs but it will be a good truck for pulling i use my 05 and pull 30,000 pounds maybe even a little more and it does good
