Cummings Diesel vs Competition

RE: Cummings Diesel vs Competition
Check any issue of Diesel Power magazine, they always compare the main three engines and trucks in every issue, and they'll explain the pros and cons of each setup. I've never been a Dodge man (I actually always drove smaller imports- Tacomas, B2200s, etc.), but I found the Cummins Ram to be the best choice for me when I was looking for a tow rig last May.

These might help in your decision-making process:

RE: Cummings Diesel vs Competition
I've driven all 3 diesels and have to say that they all have the good and bad points.
1 The powerstroke has a lot more pick up from 0-80 mph. available in crew cab, but it seems to have quit a few problems with the engine. (thank God not mine)
2 The duamax is the most quite of the three. Lacks power in pulling and get-up-&-GO Expect the cab to quickly fall apart ***** falling off out and down. Chevy does have themost room for there crew cab.
3 Cummings will last the longest and most like. Pulling I'm sure it has enough (no experince pulling with the dodge 24valve) A little slow on the take-off. From what I have read Best milage per gallon. Will have the most room for a crew cab. (when ever they release the mega cab.
Just my opinion
