What is a low cost fuel pressure gauge?
I am considering adding a fuel pressure gauge to my 2006 3500 5.9 CTD and have a few questions.
Do I really need a gauge? Is an idiot light sufficient? Do I need either? Do just the VP44 pump trucks need a gauge &or light? Do the trucks with the CP3 also need a fuel pressure monitor?
What is a good low cost fuel pressure gauge for monitoring fuel pressure going to the injection pump?
electric or mechanical?
where to put the gauge so it's not too obnoxious in your face?
Is there a gauge which alarms / lights up below say 5psi?
Is 5 psi a minimum I need to maintain?
