Hmm. All trans fluid is light weight motor oil with a ton of detergent in it so it has ash content.
I run 2 stroke oil in mine. Seems to work fine.

not good for the injectors to run oil with ash content.

best thing to run that I have ran for years is ashless outboard 2-stroke oil.

I buy it by the gallon at wally world.

A guy I used to work with ran about 50/50 diesel/atf in his 24-valve, he'd been doing it without problem for years when I met him.

that sounds expensive since ATF is usually more expensive than diesel.

i know someone that works at a junkyard and runs a mix of used oils and gas in his cummins. the guy uses very little diesel. he just uses it for starting his truck and the ford duel gas tanks makes it easy to do.

He gets it free, so his cost per mile is half what it should be.
