Talking antifreeze

i have a 06 5.9 24 valve cummins what color antifreeze goes in it .its a new built long block does it make a difference thanks

I run Fleet Charge. It's pink, not the Chrysler HOAT stuff though. It's made for medium/heavy duty diesels.

If its the first time your filling it up, use what ever your prefer, green, blue, red etc... Ill stick with Zerex though for my engine.

dodge recommends HOAT and is expensive

Of course dodge recommends HOAT. They also recommend ATF+4 but that doesn't mean you have to use it, or that you will have problems if you don't use it.

GM recommends Dexcool, and that stuff sucks, imho.
