all info is in the owners manual. .. you need to offer up your year..mopar automatic transmisson fluid is used in the g56 ..I can look in my manual for you or open up the drain plug into a 4lt empty washer fluid bottle x how manny emptys you have and replace with the same volume of new fluid..

what year of truck do you have...there are two different 6-spd manuals depending on year...

(technically 3 but only difference between the first two is the input shaft)

there is the NV5600 and the G56...

Since you wanna get picky, there are 2 versions of the G56 as well

5.9 G56 trucks have a .79 6th gear OD, while 6.7 G56's have a .74.

nobody cares about G56s

aluminum junk.

either way: synchromesh manual transmission fluid.

I prefer the amsoil flavor

http://www.amsoil.com/shop/by-produc...n-fluid-5w-30/

it's a 5w-30 weight oil, but it is NOT motor oil. you need about 6 quarts...5qts + 1 overfill

The 68rfe is no more junk than the Allison 1000. The others, well, they need a bit of help to be decent.

AutoZone is full of idiots.

it takes syncromesh manual transmision fluid

your xfer case (if you had one) would take ATF+4
