Default Lowering EGT?

I'd like to lower my EGT. It's runs pretty high when I'm going up hill or racing. what are the best ways to do it. Currently I have an Edge chip not the comp. 5" exhaust no muffler and a K&N cold air intake.

Default RE: Lowering EGT?

now what do you mean by high, 1100-1200F. the engine is rated to run that without issues. however, seeing 1300+ is a good time to back off before you damage something.

if you are constantly seeing 1300+ it would be a good time to start thinking about upgradeing the turbo to something bigger since you may be hitting the upper limit of the HX35 that is on stock.

Ive heard good things about the Phat Shaft 66 and the sled puller66 turbo's if thats the route your willing to take
