Default belt squeal

alright guys im in a rut

i have a 2010 dodge ram 6.7 cummins 2500

it began to squeal and power steering went out, fixed that.

couple weeks later it squealed and belt was bad, fixed that.

couple weeks later it started squealing again, changed belt tensioner assembly and idler pulley, still squealing.

i checked water pump and alternator and all is good

Pull the belt. Spin each pull by hand. If it feels ruff maybe the issue. Belts squeal because they are slipping. Any leaks? Coolant? PS fluid? Oil?

no leaks

all pulls spin freely

no grinding sounds from pullies

luckily i called autozone and they are exchanging this belt, incase of a defective belt

so lets see what happens after in get the belt

so i put in the new belt and no squeal.... but, when i rev up the engine it sounds like its gonna squeal.

so something has to be going bad.

ive checked all pulleys and cleaned them

what i did notice with the old belt is that when the a/c is running the belt quits squealing when the compressor engages and then squeal again after it disengages

so does that mean a/c is goin bad? cause the pulley on it was good as far as my physical inspection went

Does the ac clutch feel loose? It's possible it's going? Did the old belt look glazed?

Fire it up and see if one pulley appears to be spinning slower than the others. feel the alternator, ac compressor when running. See if you can feel an issue.
