Check the starter relay in the PDC. Beyond that, may wanna post in the Ram Diesel section.

Sounds like a battery issue. How old are the batteries?

All cables cleaned replaced my main positive from battery to the starter ($66 bucks at napa) still nothing... Wondering if it could be my ignition switch. Batteries were tested and they are 89% charged so there good but im stumped

Default Still in need of help if anyone has it! 2001 dodge ram 5.9 cummins

Truck wont start ! Put in a new starter starts every now and then got batteries tested 89% each there good. Cleaned all grounds got new positive cable at napa ($66) put that in still nothing. You can hear a tick when i turn it over like the egnition switch hitting but the starter will not turn any advice?! The sensors are good as well

See if you can jump the starter... Would not be surprised if the part store one is junk... I ended up spending 29.00 to rebuild my factory denso and have been very happy with the decision
