Default 98 Dodge Cummins

I had electrical issue with charging so I was put a volt reg, on I put the wire from volt reg,to the blue wire to my ignition switch. And then I seen I had a problem not a go connection .with a pair of pliers I was going to crimp I shorted out and the truck died. Now I'm not getting anything to my switch no power at all. Thanks if anyone can help.

Check the main fuses in the power distribution center. Right behind the battery, under the hood.
