i now there is a bunch of aftermarket stuff out there but was wondering if anybody has use a beffed up clutch in there CTD if so did u tow with it or just spank whatever pulled up along side i want 1 fer towing but would rather have some 1st had knowlege insted of maufactures write ups that are tring to see u the product any input would be nice

a 40" flat deck hot shot gooseneck trailer weight is around 9400lb empty and truck is regested(as a commercial vehicle) for up to 42000 gross weight allready had a load that had me at 38500 so i have a good bit on it most of the time almost always has the trailer on it

to second Drew, i have some buddies who enter truck pulls, and i believe they use South Bend clutches. i think South Bend has a wide variety also, so they probably have something to suit your needs.

I just replaced my clutch last week from South Bend Clutches. They are very friendly and know their stuff. I told them what I was towing and they sent me the clutch in the mail.

thanks fer the info i like what im hereing cowboyBob what do u tow how heavy? and now that i now my new toy works and puts out what it does i will deffentatly be needing a good clutch thanks fer all yalls help
