Default Clicking when key is on

My truck seems to be working ok, but if I turn the key to the run position (not start it) I hear a rapid clicking from under the hood. Sounds like a solenoid, or like an injector, or a relay or something. Is this normal? What is it?

That might just be the fuel pump clicking. I can hear it under the cab in my 97.

Could be a number of things, I would have it checked out because it sounds like sometimes going out

Its a rapid non stop non pausing clicking. I think from under the cover on the top of the engine. I checked other forums, and found one thats describes exactly what I have. Alot of people chimed in with the same concerns. They concluded it is normal and it is two of the injectors firing away, and they do this for 3 to 4 minutes. I want to know if anyone here has this. Just turn the key to the run position(not start) (engine is off) and pop the hood, and listen at the top of the engine. Is it really normal?
