yep. . .that 16&8 mix goes for the entire tank. . .

and one more thing, if you have below 20K your mileage will be going up, heck, I have 32K on my 04.5 and the mileage is still slowly increaseing, but not like it was when I first got her.

my first tank netted me only 13mpg, 32K later I'm getting 18-20 depending on my driveing.

2004 2500 with 47000 miles. 20.2-21-7 highway between 2000 and 2100 rpm. No appreciable load. Two weeks ago I pulled a 7500 pound tandem tool trailer on the highway at 68-72 mph and got 12.5-13.5 mpg depending on winds. All this with Drews magic brew. When I drop my emply load speed to 65 mph the mileage goes up at least 2 mpg on flat road.

4 sp auto.
3.73 gears
completely stock

I'm curious too mbaz. What difference are y'all seeing between hand calc. and the computer. I just bought mine '06 4X4 2500. Everything on it is stock. I have about 2000 mi. I've been using about 8-10 oz. of PS white bottle in it. I'm getting about 14 or so on the computer. Most of my driving is 60%city\40%highway right now.
I filled up yesterday with 31 gallons at a hand calculated 15.6 mpg - my computer reported 15.7. My truck is all stock. I'm glad to see my computer is working properly, as it should! Guess I'll try Drew's brew and see how that works for me.

If I keep it below 80 I averave 17mpg, the overhead reads between 13 and 14 mpg.

I only have about 450 miles on her but am getting 15.5 according to the computer. That is mixed, city, highway and stop and go traffic. After the first reset it showed 18.2 after 127 miles of highway, but a few days of driving in traffic and around town brought it down. Cant wait to pull with it. My HEMI was giving me about 6.5 pulling my toy hauler and 10.5 on the highway

ken, you wont even know the load is back there

and a better way to judge your fuel mileage is to hand calculate it. but watch out for the idiocy factor of diesel. . .foaming[:@]

the whole overhead computer thing is crap... mine has gone farther and farther away from reality for some reason, it used to be 1.5~1.8 mpg off, now it's over 2.2 off all the time.

mine has stayed low. . .I'm wondering if it might have something to do with your edge box.

the edge will affect it but leaving the box on #1 and un-changed over a period of weeks has shown me the OH comp sucks. Here's the error #'s... this is the hand calculated # subtracted from the OH comp #.

2.016931217
2.427275606
2.307223787
2.220950171
2.315539489

all of which came with the edge set to #1 and this is for the month of June...

here is what it was for May...

1.759898905
1.506197457
1.453988968
1.565165363
1.528099291

there are some tanks of fuel that I thru out becasue of using the edge on different #'s. I keep track on each tank the additive, edge setting and which airbox is installed.

something else I just notice while looking at my spreadsheet... since adding the synth oil, mileage is up about .5 mpg (averaging 4 data points for each... reg oil vs synth, afe kit on, additive to tank & edge on #1)
