I have a Banks Stinger kit (programmer, 4" exhaust, Big Mouth waste gate & K&N drop in filter) with the OttoMinder programmer and I really like it. I have no experience with any other set up.
Mine has no external ajustments. Just lots of power over stock.

it only helps keep the turbine from spinning up too fast, and that is where you get your boost pressure, however it is very easy to spin the turbo up so fast it become inefficent as an air pump.
you can find the quadzilla programmer just about anywhere, and the TST can be bought off their website, just google it

I have the 2002 and was looking for the best bang for the buck. I liked Banks speal, safety features, and lack of smoke according to them. Just a bit pricey on the exhaust. Found a magnaflow 4" turbo back (3.5" downpipe) system for less than $400 and was considering the Banks Git-kit ottomind (tuner) was $404 probably closer to$500 now. I hadn't heard of any problems with the Banks until this forum. any input would be appreciated.

Matt, this is only from what I have seen around the net from reliable sources.
Banks electronics for a few people works wonders. it is good for what it does, but for those that it works well for, you have quite a few that are not very satisfied and find that a far cheaper module(edge, bully dog, quadzilla) performs much better. The main thing that turned me away from Banks electronics is the way it interfaces with the ECM. It actualy leaves a trace of its existance in the computer from where it pulls certian information off the computer instead of synthesizing it like other boxes.
now I'm not going to fully knock Banks, their hardware(turbo's, intercoolers, exhaust) is some very good stuff.
If I had the money this would be my setup.
magnaflow or MBPR 4 inch cat back exhaust( I can do cat back since my kitty ran away last week
)
TST, KAX injectors, SPS66 turbo, and a South Bend Clutch . all this would be good for a solid 400 hp with the TST on lower settings.
